21 Recipients of Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 for Nation Building
Shri Aurobindo Samman, offered by Eternal Hindu Foundation, is a symbolic recognition conferred on Individuals and organizations with the spirit of Selfless Seva through diverse approach to uphold the spirit and Dharma of Ma Bharathi as reflected by Shri Aurobindo through his writings and life.
Eternal Hindu Foundation is an organization of devoted Sanatani Hindus who have a will to do something for betterment of Sanatani Hindus around the globe. Members may be from any region, any sect of Sanatani Hindus. Foundation does not believe in any discrimination, distortion based on caste, region, language or gender.
21 individuals and organizations who contributed to preserving culture, serving the society, enriching nature, protecting Dharma – in short, nation building, received Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 in Delhi on 28th October 2023 at Yogeshwar Devi Dayal Mahamandir, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. The event was graced by thinker, environmental activist, social activist, political activist KN Govindacharya, wrestler Babita Phogat, mentor/advisor of Eternal Hindu Foundation Pawan Srivastava, amongst other dignitaries. The samman was conferred on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti. This day was also the Sthapana Diwas of Eternal Hindu Foundation, the organization that confers Shri Aurobindo Samman. Following is a description about the recipients of the recognition.
Shri Acharya Vishnu Gupt from Uttar Pradesh in the category of ‘Preserving Culture’. He is a senior journalist. He writes on Hindutva and Nationalism. His weekly column is published in many newspapers. He is known for exposing Pakistani Terrorism, Illegal settlements of Rohingya and Minority appeasement. Acharya Vishnu Gupt is conferred Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 for upholding his journalist ethics in Bharatiya context.
Aravindam India Gurukul from Haryana in the category of ‘Serving Society’. Aravindam India Gurukulam is engaged in free skill development to underprivileged children through free education in music, art and culture. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon Gurukulam for their valuable contribution to society through rendering free education to underprivileged children for skill development.
Shri Charanjeev Malhotra from New Delhi in the category of ‘Serving Society’. He is a COVID pandemic warrior. During the pandemic, he served the society on graceful disposal of unidentified dead bodies. Shri. Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon Shri Chiranjeev Malhotra for his noble work done for graceful disposal of unidentified dead bodies and doing Gau Seva.
Smt. Florina Amol Parulekar from Maharashtra in the category of ‘Serving Society’. She is an alternate pain management therapist. She served more than thousands of people free of cost. She is conferred Shri Aurobindo Samman for selfless service to society for relieving orthopedic pain and for promoting alternative therapies.
Shri Jitendra Tiwari from Delhi in the category of ‘Serving Society’. Shri Tiwari is educating society about the contribution and sacrifices of freedom fighters of Bharat Mata. Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 is conferred upon him for his efforts in motivating youths through spreading awareness.
Smt. Karuna Raghuvanshi from Madhya Pradesh in the category of ‘Serving Society’. She is a social activist. For the past 22 years she has been serving under privileged children and farmers. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon her for contribution to society for serving locals in diamond mine area in Narmada Region, Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Om Dalmotra from Jammu & Kashmir in the category of ‘Serving Society’. He is serving Maa Bharti by eradicating social evil practices prevailing in the rural community. He is educating people through songs about superstitious practices and its impact on society. Shri Aurobindo Samman conferred to him for his commendable contribution in eradication superstitious practices from rural Bharat.
Shri Prince Tiwari from Uttar Pradesh in the category of ‘Following Dharma’. Prince Tiwari is preserving Bhartiya Dharma by establishing Ram school which promotes Ramayana. Creating awareness among youth for environment through Environment Parliament. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon him for his remarkable research work on Ramayana and creating environmental awareness among youths.
Shri Rakesh Shankar Gaur from Uttar Pradesh in the category of ‘Following Dharma’. Shri. Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon Shri Rakesh Shankar Gaur for his commendable work of preserving Sanatan Dharma by managing the temples through a trust and spreading awareness on Bhartiya culture by running schools in the society.
Shri Reddy Ramanagaru from Andhra Pradesh in the category of ‘Enriching Nature’. Shri Reddy Ramanagaru is social activist engaged in rehabilitation of homeless people and creating feeding points for birds. He is also known for his work of running mobile library on two-wheelers. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon on him for adopting creative approach of mobile library for education of rural youth and preserving birds by installing feeding points.
Shri Sardar Ravi Ranjan Singh from Delhi in the category of ‘Preserving Culture’. Shri. Sardar Ravi Ranjan Singh is a pioneer in exposing harmful side effects of Halal economy in Bharat. He is the first person to get Jhatka Certification Authority. He is conferred Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 for his Indic and Dharmic approach to protect indigenous economics of Bharat.
Shri Amit Sinha from Bihar in the category of ‘Following Culture’. An educationist, a teacher, documentary maker, RTI activist, columnist & social service, Shri Amit Sinha is conferred the Shri Aurobindo Samman for restoring Bharatiya culture by educating youth by sharing true historical facts.
Smt. Sunita Tikaria from Chhattishgarh in the category of ‘Serving Society’. She is serving for welfare of underprivileged children. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon her for her Seva to underprivileged families by providing free education, community marriages and rehabilitation of differently abled women.
Shri Vivek Mani Tripathi from Bihar in the category of ‘Preserving Culture’. Shri Vivek Mani Tripathi is serving Maa Bharti by preserving & promotion of Hindi in foreign land like China. Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 is conferred upon him for his noble work of promoting Hindi in China that may help strengthening of relations between India & China through effective communication.
Shri Vivek Tyagi from Delhi in the category of ‘Preserving Culture’. Shri Vivek Tyagi is a senior journalist. He is writing mostly based on organic farming, preserving desi cow and environment. He has also travelled on the banks of many scared rivers of Bharat like Maa Ganga, Maa Narmada & Yamuna. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon him for preserving and promoting Indian culture.
Smt. Saraswati Pendharkar from Madhya Pradesh in the category of ‘Following Dharma’. Smt. Saraswati Pendharkar is a dedicated environmentalist and social activist. She has dedicated her life for social services like environment preservation and animal welfare. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon her for her dedication for protection of environment and promoting Gau Seva.
Shri Acharya KR Manoj from Kerala in the category of ‘Following Dharma’. Shri. Acharya K. R. Manoj has dedicated his life for the promotion of Yoga Vidya, Adhyatmika Shashtram, Bharathiya Sanskriti and Vidyarthi Naipunya Varg (Students’ Excellence Program). Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon him for enlightening society on Sanatan Dharma.
Smt. Sameera Parvez from Maharashtra in the category of ‘Serving Society’. Smt. Sameera Parvez is a well-known architect and working on cost effective design of housing. She also served in Central Board of Film Certification. Being Muslim woman, she upheld the integrity of free thoughts and freedom of expression as mentioned in Bharatiya Culture. Some of her critical and major certification includes the block blusters like The Kashmir Files and Kerala Stories. Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 is conferred upon her for serving Bhartiya perspective of Indian Cinema and for also low cost housing design for marginalized society.
Shri Gunjan Kumar Jha from Delhi in the category of ‘Preserving Culture’. Shri. Gunjan Kumar Jha, musician has written and edited four books on music and his articles are widely published. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon him for promoting Indian music and culture by organizing concerts and by way of Samay Daan in Rashtra Nirman.
Smt. Vidushi Shalmalee Joshi from Maharashtra in the category of ‘Preserving Culture’. She is a well-known classical musician. She has performed Indian music at nation and international venues. Shri Aurobindo Samman is conferred upon her for preserving Indian music and culture.
Shri Ashok Upadhyay from Delhi in the category of ‘Enriching Nature’. Shri Ashok Upadhyay is a social activist working for preservation of rivers and forest. Shri Aurobindo Samman 2023 is conferred upon him for his work of cleaning and planting trees on the Yamuna banks and motivating people to keep rivers clean.
